Earlier this month, IPOB leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu was discharged and acquitted by the appeal court, the three judges that sat on the appeal panel that acquitted him from the fifteen count terrorism charge the federal government laid against him has Been transferred to their various divisions.
The investigation revealed that four days after they delivered the judgement that discharged the IPOB leader, the three judges (Jummai Hanatu Sankey, Oludotun Adetope-Okojie, Ebiowei Tobi) were transferred.
It maintained that the appeal court acted in error by striking out the charges that against Kanu, the IPOB leader on the premise that the trial judge no longer had the jurisdiction to handle the situation.
This made the federal government through the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice prayed the apex court to the interim, suspend the execution of the court of Appeal verdict, pending the hearing and determination of it's appeal.
